Your report is stored on a secure stand alone server and all paperwork will be shredded. We will not pass your information to a third party without your instructions.
All of our valuers have been carefully vetted with a minimum of 15 years experience. A number of our valuers belong to various professional valuation bodies and information on a valuer can be supplied in advance.
Our team of valuers cover the whole of the UK meaning that you will have a local valuer visit you.
All of our valuers carry ID and a photograph of the valuer will be sent on confirmation of appointment.
We will find the nearest valuer to you and cover the first £20 of travel. You will only pay for any travel above this figure.
No, you only pay for the time spent at your property.
Although only a guide, a wealth-check valuation normally takes between 2-3 hours. Depending on the size of your property and how heavily furnished it is, a full house inventory bespoke valuation takes a minimum of 2 hours.
We do recommend that you are at the property on the day. However, you do not need to follow the valuer around unless you wish to.
The valuer will only value what is visible, so please remove any items from drawers/cupboards and point out anything that you wish the valuer to see.
The valuer does not go into lofts, etc; but will value items in outhouses/sheds. At the end of the valuation, the valuer will discuss with you any items that may be stored away.
We recommend that valuations are updated on a regular basis of between 3-5 years.
We are able to update jewellery valuations completed by Quastel Associates without the need for a re-visit. However we can only update items we have actually seen.
If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions.
